Common Name The Neotinea Like Herminium - In China Chuan Xi Kuo Rui Lan

Found in western Sichuan province of China on grassy slopes at elevations of 3100 to 4000 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with oblong-ovoid tubers giving rise to an erect stem provided with 2 to 3, basal tubular sheaths and carrying 2, basal, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate to acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, peduncle 4.8 to 8.8" [12 to 22 cm] long, cylindric, slender, provided with 1 sterile bract, rachis 3.2 to 6.4" [8 to 16 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, lower ones exceeding the flowers floral bracts.
