Common Name The Elegant Hetaeria

Flower Size

Found in penninsular Malayasia at elevations around 1000 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with 6 near basal, rather narrowly ovate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, slender, to 12" [30 cm] long, shortly hairy, provided with several, short, narrowly sterile bracts, rachis to 2.8" [7 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with hairless, as long as to slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying hairless flowers.

Seidenfaden states that this orchid may be conspecific with H elata. More research needs to be done.
