Found in southwestern Guangxi and Hainan provinces of China, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand in dense tropical rainforests and seasonal evergreen forests in leaf litter at elevations of 300 to 800 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 4 to 5, scattered all along the stem, oblong to narrowly elliptic, slightly to strongly unequal and acute apically, basally obtuse rounded into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a termial, erect, elongate, slender, 6 to 8.8" [15 to 22 cm] long, pubescent, subdensely many flowered with sterile, pink, lanceolate, abaxially weakly pubescent bracts and with pink, lanceolate, slightly shorter than the ovary, abaxially weakly pubescent, acuminate apically floral bracts
