Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 1600 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 5 to 6 obliquely ovate to elliptic, acuminate to acute, channeled petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, hairy peduncle to 7.2" [18 cm] long, rachis hairy to 8" [20 cm] long, 15.2" [38 cm] long overall, many flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers
