Common Name The small Flowered Hexalectris

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in southern Arizona, Mexico and Guatemala in mixed dry oak/pine forests on broken limestone slopesat elevations around 1000 to 2300 meters meters as a miniature to medium sized, cool to cold growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with an erect, leafless, rose lavender, with several rose lavender scarious bracts, 5.2 to 15.2" [13 to 38 cm] long overall, few to several flowered inflorescence.
