Found in New Guinea at elevations around 300 meters as a miniature to just small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very long rhizome giving rise to a very short stem carrying 4 to 5, erect to erect-patent, subfalcate-ligulate, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on an elongate, peduncle thin, papillose, rachis with substellate puberulent papillae, 4.8" [12 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with oval, obtuse, more or less longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are green with a yellow lip.
