Common Name Wenzel's Bulbophyllum [American Orchid Collector late 1800's in the Philippines]

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found only on Leyte in the Philippines at elevations around 60 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a rhizome with 1.6" [4 cm] between each plant growth consisting of a fan of imbricate leaf bases carrying leathery, tapered, falcate, erect to sagging leaves that blooms on an axillary, bracteate, longer than the leaves, to 12" [30 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
