Common Name The Leafless Holothrix

Flower Size

Found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Zaire, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Yemen in grasslands with scattered acacia and upland grasslands at elevations of 1500 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with that blooms in the winter and earlier spring on an erect, terminal, more or less secund, laxly many flowered inflorescence with numerous lanceolate, acuminate, lowermost imbricate sheaths and with lanceoalte, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
