Common Name The Leafless Holothrix

Flower Size .14 to .26" [3.5 to 6.5 mm]

Found in western and southwestern Cape Province South Africa in rocky places among scrub at elevations of 150 to 900 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a minutely and thinly hairy stem carrying 2, basal, adpressed to the ground, hairless, orbicular, cordate basally leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, terminal, lax, 3 to 13 flowered inflorescence.
