Common Name The Thin Spur Holothrix

Found in southwestern Namibia to northwestern Cape Province of South Africa on rock crevasses and on stoney slopes in dry scrub at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender, erect, hairless stem carrying hairless leaves that blooms in the later fall through earlier winter on an erect, to 8" [20 cm] long, lax, many flowered inflorescence.
