Flower Size .06 to .14" [1.5 to 3.5 mm]

Found in southwestern and southern Cape Province of South Africa in grasslands at elevations of near sea level to 900 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing lithophyte with a slender, ebracteate, short reflexed hairy stem carrying rounded to ovoid, pilose leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a condensed, to 5.6" [14 cm] long, 13 or so flowered inflorescence.
