Found in Cape Province of South Africa among rocks and shrubs as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 basal, ovoid, glabrous leaves that blooms on a bracteate, stout, moderately to densely short, finely velvety pilose, peduncle 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, 5.4 to 10.4" [13.5 to 27 cm] long overall, many flowered inflorescence.
