Common Name Cheang's Hylophila [Malaysian Orchid Enthusiast and first collector of species ]

Found in penninsular Malaysia and Borneo at elevations of 800 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with nodally rooting, basally creeping, to 10" [25 cm] long, stem carrying basally clasping basally twisting, linear-lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, channeled, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later spring on a terminal, erect, short pedunculate, 4" [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence
