Found in Penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in lowland swamp forests at elevations of 700 to 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with 6 to 12, basal, elliptic, acute, acuminate, unequal halves, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, shortly pubescent, to 20" [50 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence wuth a few sterile bracts.
