Found in New Guinea in forests on trees at elevations around 2200 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a elongate, densely leafy stem carrying erect-spreading, fleshy, oblong, obtuse, densely serrate margined leaves that blooms in the spring on a veryshort, subumbelliform, 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with oval, obtuse floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are white-green with the apex of the lip being grass green.
