Found in New Guinea in forests on trees at elevations around 1000 to 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short, densely leafy stem carrying spreading, oblong-apiculate, serrate margined leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on a shortly umbelliform, few bracted, 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with oval, apiculate, dentate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are whitish with a green lip lamina.
