Found in New Guinea in forests on trees at elevations around 1100 meters as a super-mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short, densely leafy stem carrying fleshy, oval, apiculate, serrate margined leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a short, subumbelliform, few flowered inflorescence with oval, acuminate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow-white with a green lip lamina.
