Found in New Guinea in forests on trees at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a simple, densely leafy stem carrying erect-spreading, fleshy, elliptic-lanceolate, apiculate, acute, serrate margined leaves that blooms in the early summer on a short, few bracted, few flowered inflorescence with oval, apiculate, serrate floral bracts.
Schlechter stated that the flowers are whitish with a green lip lamina.
