Common Name The Giant Sudamerlycaste

Flower Size 2.5" [6.25 cm]

Found in Colombia and Ecuador in unknown localities as a giant sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with large pseudobulbs bearing small, blunt spines and carrying 3, plicate leaves and blooms in the spring, summer and fall on an erect, 17.2 to 24" [43 to 60 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence and carrying a fragrant flower.
