Found in Oaxaca Mexico in montane rainforests elfin forests ans evergreen cloud forests at elevations around 1900 to 2750 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect, terete stems carrying towards the apex, distichous, narrowly linear-lanceolate, bilobed apically, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on a terminal, slightly arcuate, dense, sessile, secund, 1.12 to 1.28" [2.8 to 3.2 cm] long, 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence
