Common Name The Whip Carrying Habenaria [refers to the petals] - In China Yan Po Yu Feng Hua

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Japan and Taiwan on rocky slopes and in sparse forests at elevations below 700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial with an oblong, fleshy tuber giving rise to several, in a basal rosette, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, 18" [45 cm] long, light green laxly several flowered inflorescence with floral bracts enveloping the pedicel.
