Found in Colombia at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a terete stem carrying erect-patent, subulate, obtuse, apiculate, laterally compressed leaves that blooms on a terminal, peduncle .08 to .1" [2 to 2.5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with an ovate-cucullate floral bract and carrying a nutant, fleshy, glabrous flower.
