Found in Sabah Borneo in lower montane forests on small branches and twigs of saplings at elevations of 900 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a simple stem carrying many, distichous, ensiform, acute, flattened, hard, fleshy leaves that blooms in the spring summer and fall on an axillary, lateral, short, single flowered inflorescence subtended by 2, brownish, ovate bracts.
