Found in northern and northeastern Madagascar in lichen forests at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a slender, branching, pendent, densely leafy stem carrying many, 2 ranked, linear-ligulate, bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on axillary, peduncle completely enveloped by 4 bracts, upper ones longer than the lower, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying small, white flowers.
