Common Name The Zaratana Jumellea [Area in north central Madagascar]
Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]
Found in north central Madagascar in mossy evergreen forests at elevations of 1700 to 2700 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte without a stem and having 5 to 6, leathery yet rather thin leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on an axillary 6 1/4" to 8" [16 to 20 cm] long inflorescence that is shorter than the leaves
