Common Name The Winged Kefersteinia [refers to the winged base of the lip]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and Panama in moist premontane forests at elevations around 450 to 1200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a fan shaped growth of 3 to 4, oblong, acuminate, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves and blooms in the summer and early fall on 1 to 2, basal, slender, semipendant, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
