Common Name The Narrow Leaved Kefersteinia

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found only in Panama in lower montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a loose fan of 4 to 6, narrowly linear, acute to apiculate, articulate and conduplicate into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, axillary, slender, terete, lateral to pendent, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3, conic-infundibuliform bracts and 2, outer one widely ovate and obtuse, the inner one, smaller and acute.

Similar to K retenae but it differs in the ventral keel that extends more basally and a callus that is basal as well and the lip is obovate-pandurate instead of spatulate-flabellate in K angustifolia.
