Found in Panama in very wet forests at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a fan of 3 to 4, elliptic, acute or acuminate, narrowing below into the narrow conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the late spring through late summer on a basal, .68 to .88" [1.7 to 2.2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 2 bracts
