Found in Peru in wet montane forests low on tree trunks at elevations around 1000 to 1700 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with fan shaped growths giving rise to linear-lanceolate, acuminate, grey-green, attenuate to the narrow conduplicate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall in cultivation on a horizontal, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a bract near the middle and two infundibular, much shorter than the ovaries floral bracts.
