Found in Ecuador in extremely wet, montane forests at elevations around 800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a loose fan of 5 or so, lanceolate, acute to acuminate leaves that blooms in the winter through spring on an erect, 2.4" [6 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
