Found in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 900 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm growing epiphtye with a fan of several, lanceolate, carinate midvein, acuminate, articulate below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the spring and again in the fall on multiple, axillary, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
