Common Name Medina's Kefersteinia [Ecuadorian Original Collector of Species current]

Found in Ecuador at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an abbreviated stem enveloped completely by 4 to 6, imbricating, sheaths and carrying narrowly oblanceolate-elliptic, acute to abruptly acuminate, narrowing below into the conduplicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a slender, suberect to arching pendant, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
