Common Name The Circular Kefersteinia [refers to the shape and placement of the lip]

Found in Costa Rica in premontane rain forest to cloud forest and disturbed primary forests at elevations around 1000 to 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with 2 to 3, obovate-elliptic, acute to obscurely retuse, slightly undulate, narrowing below into the conduplicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a pendant, 1.6 "[4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 1 or 2 bracts
