Found in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations of 1700 to 2500 meters as a fan-shaped, miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with imbricating clusters of 3, elliptic-lanceolate to oblanceolate, acute to apiculate, thin, conduplicate below into the petiolate base leaves that have blooms in nature at any time of the year on a slender, laxly arching, axillary inflorescence enclosed by 3 to 4 scarious, imbricating sheaths at the base and 2 floral bracts held at mid-inflorescence carrying nodding, campanulate flowers.
