Common Name Sawyer's Kionophyton [American Orchid Enthusiast and Collector in Mexico 1900's]

Found in Morelos state of Mexico in oak forests within volcanic rocky soils at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by the basal, petiolate base, elliptic-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, secund, many flowered inflorescence.
