Found in Sabah Borneo in heath forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a descending to spreading, leafy for most of its length, slightly compressed stem carrying several, spreading, falcate, strap shaped to unequally obovate, green, thick, apically obtuse and unequally bilobed with obtuse to acute lobules leaves with basal sheaths loosely clasping stem, green, thick persistent basal leaf sheaths that blooms in the summer on several at a time, lateral, emerging from the leaf axil, descending, peduncle .06 to .068" [1.5 to 1.7 mm] long, widening towards the apex, green, .16 to .3" [4 to 7.5 mm] overall, terminating in an ovate, fleshy bracts, successively single, to 12 flowered inflorescence with crowded, quaquaversal, triangular, longitudinally folded, pale green, persistent, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying ephemeral flowers that do not open well.
