Common Name The Beautiful Kreodanthus

Flower Size .24” [6 mm]

Found in Venezuela and Colombia at elevations around 2500 to 3200 meters as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a decumbent basal becoming erect, apically subdensely leafy stems carrying lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, acute to shortly acuminate, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, spicate, laxly many flowered inflorescence with membraneous, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, as long as or shorter than the ovary floral bracts
