Found in sotheastern Brazil as a hot to warm growing epiphyte at lower elevations that blooms in the fall.
The in situ plant photo above is from Boia Ceia', Sao Paulo State, Brazil at an elevation of 2 meters in the first scrub, mangrove hammock off the beach on trunks and limbs of small trees with lichen. Very wet!!
