Common Name The Hidden Lecanorchis
Flower Size .4 to .52" [1 to 1.3 cm]
Found in Taiwan on forest floor at elevations of 400 to 500 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with a black, crooked, short noded rhizome giving rise in the spring and summer to an erect, to 12" [30 cm] long, blackish, hardened, flattened, provided with several small sheaths, rachis to 4" [10 cm] long, branxching, can last for more than 1 year, successively 1 rarely to 2, several flowered inflorescence with small, triangular, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying wide open flowers that are lightly violet tinged with green at the apex of the sepals.
