Common Name or Meaning The Malaccan Lecanorchis
Flower Size .4" [1 cm]
Found in the Thailand, Malayasia, Sumatra and Borneo in moist shady forests at elevations of sea level to 600 meters meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a slender, brittle, dark purple to almost blackish brown, sometimes branching stem carrying about 3, widely separated, small, triangular sheaths and blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, terminal, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, successively 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with rounded, concave floral bracts
