Common Name The Pale Flowered Lemurella

Flower Size

Found in northern and eastern Madagascar in mossy montane forests at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect, short, simple stem enveloped completely by leaf sheaths carrying 2 ranked, fleshy, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, basally twisted so they all lie in one plane, unequally and acutely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late spring, summer and earlier fall on an axillary, slender, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with carrying a pale green flower.
