Flower Size

Found in southern Colombia in the department of Cauca on el Vulcan de Purace at elevations of 2900 to 3200 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte blooms in the spring on a many successively single flowered inflorescence. The photo was taken within the national park of Purace 6/07. Notice the seed capsule, it is larger than the plant.
