Found in Guatemala at elevations around 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, clear green above, reddish beneath, tridentate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a distichous, congested, .8" [2 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence enveloped basally by floral bracts.
