Common Name 1/4" x 3/4" [.6 x 1.8 cm]

Flower Size

Found in southern Colombia in the department of Cauca on el Vulcan de Purace at elevations of 2900 to 3200 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a narrow elliptic leaf that blooms in the spring on a many successively single flowered inflorescence that elongates but is still on the leaf. The photo was taken within the national park of Purace 6/07.
