Common Name The Congested Lepanthes

Found only in Hidalgo, Vera Cruz & Oaxaca states of Mexico in cloud forests at elevations around 900 to 1900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ascending ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 6 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, widely elliptic, obtuse, minutely tridentate, petiolate base leaf that blooms at any time of the year on 1 to 6, only 1 per bloom season, mostly longer than the leaf, on either side of the leaf, peduncle filiform, .32 to .44” [.8 to 1.1 cm] long, single obliquely infundibular bracted, rachis flexuous, .48 to .8” [1.2 to 2 cm] long overall, successively single, 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
