Found in Costa Rica at elevations of 1400 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphytic species with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 5, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single ovate, acute, tridenticulate apically leaf that blooms in the spring on a few, 1" [2.5 cm] long successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
