Flower Size 1/4" x 3/4" [.7 x 2 cm]

Found in Colombia at elevations of 2600 meters in sub-paramo mist forests as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with horizontal to erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 4 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, rounded, gradually narrows below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, to ascending, 1 5/8" [4 cm] long, successively, single flowered inflorescence.

Similar to L agatarum, L calocodon, L cloesii, L cymbium and L nautilus.
