Found in Dominican Republic and Haiti at elevations around 1100 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect to ascending, slender, strict rarely curved, ramicauls enveloped by to 4 to 8, cornucopiate, marginate, apiculate, microscopically echinate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coricaeous, brown spotted, broadly ovate to suborbicular, marginate, with sparsely ciliate margins, subacuminate, bidentate-mucronate apically leaf that blooms on a fascile of up to 5, filiform, distally distichously arranged, densely successively single, to 12 flowered inflorescence with dilatate, acute, sparsely ciliate floral bracts
