Common Name The Cerro Duida Lepanthes [A Mountain in Amazonas]

Found in southern Venezuela at elevations around 1300 to 1850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped by 4 to 6, tubular, apiculate, finely long scabrous ribbed lepanthiform sheaths and carrying elliptic-ovate to narrowly ovate, acute often tridenticulate, narrowly cuneiform to rounded below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a shorter than the leaf, .2 to .5" [5 to 12.5 mm] long, successively single, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with inconspicuous, cuculate floral bracts. .
