Found in Venezuela and Roraima state of Brazil at elevations around 1700 to 1900 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 6 to 12 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying an erect, apical, single, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, somewhat attenuate, strongly mucronate apically, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms on a filiform, fractiflex, lengthening over time, to 2" [5 cm] long,successively few flowered inflorescence arising on top of the leaf.
